I was offered a free back massage by SWI at their Taipan USJ branch. At first, I was actually reluctant to go, but after receiving persistent follow-up messages from their staff, I decided to try it out. The massage itself was fine, but immediately afterward, the staff began hard-selling their exclusive treatment packages. They were quite pushy and kept insisting that I sign up, even though I clearly said I wasn’t interested. What was meant to be a relaxing experience turned into a stressful sales session. I understand that businesses need to promote their services, but this kind of aggressive upselling after a “free trial” doesn’t leave a good impression. I’m sharing this so others know what to expect — if you go for the free session, be prepared for strong sales pressure afterward.
